Thanks for everyone's tips and recommendations in this forum. Yesterday was our first trip to Cypress Cove near Orlando, and it was my wife's first experience being nude around others! The staff and service was amazing, and the resort had so much more than we were expecting. The place was packed due to the great weather and a tournament, but we still found plenty of room by the lake and pools to do our own thing and ease into the social nudism experience. It was great to see so many families, couples and people of all ages and shapes enjoying the warm weather. Highly recommended! We will be back for sure :)

I just want to share something about my family. We are Vietnamese and live in Vietnam (actually I live in Europe but come back a few times a year). My family is pretty traditionally Asian. My parents are quite prudish and definitely not nudists. They wouldn't normally walk around the house naked and may not even know nudism is a thing.I grew up only practicing nudism when I am alone at home. However since I became an adult and start living away from my childhood house, my parents also grow old and seem to be quite relaxed about nudity, or at least that's what I observed. My last trip home, one morning when I woke up and went to the kitchen, I saw my dad washing his face in the kitchen sink and he was naked. That was a surprise to me. I seldom see him nude during my whole childhood and now he is just walking around the kitchen without clothes. He saw me taking some water, carried on washing his face and then casually put on his shorts. Usually it was he who had caught me naked running around the house before or after shower (with an excuse of putting my dirty clothes in the washing machine).In the past I also saw my mum walking out of the shower without putting her clothes on and then just talked to her friend on the phone while naked in her room. Of course I didn't (and it would have been awkward to) walk in.They don't know I am usully nude in my house (only my gf knows) but now maybe whenever I come back to their house I can be a bit relaxed about staying nude. It would be too extreme if I start having meal nude with them or watching the tv nude but I mean I can be without clothes a little bit before and after shower.

Manitoba Nude Yoga

I am hosting my fifth nude yoga class in Winnipeg. Available dates are evening Monday March 25, evening Friday March 29, day and evening Saturday March 30. Classes are coed. Clothing optional available for women new to the practice. I am an instructor with ten years teaching experience. Beginners are welcome. Bring a yoga mat and water bottle. I have a few mats available if you do not have one. Let me know what day you are available and I can schedule a class. If a group is interested in a private class, or a female only class, that can be arranged as well. All classes are non-sexual social nudity classes. Anyone making another participant uncomfortable will be asked to leave. Class cost is $12 per person.

So made a new account to ask cause it feels like something weird to talk about.​Basically these past few days/weeks there's been some issues concerning "clothing" in our home. My Wife (36) has always been pretty relaxed as far as clothes go, dating as far back as when we first started living together. She was never a nudist, but would ocassionaly go around in just her underwear or blalantly naked when it was just us at home. I of course never had any problem with that, hell I don't think any man on their right mind would have a problem with that.As we started and raised our own family, I thought that would change. As the years went by we were blessed with 2 boys and a girl (They're now 10,9 and 7). For the first few years, nothing really changed but I didn't think much of it as they were still very young. She would still go about her "casual nudity". After several years though, I started having some thoughts, as my wife would allow and kind of encourage them to be naked at home, in moments like after showers. I'd often tell them to at least wear some underwear, and they would comply, but I never really had a talk with my wife about the whole thing cause it seemed so casual to her and I just couldn't find a good argument to be against it.A few days ago, she came to talk to me after dinner. She said she had been considering the idea of formally becoming nudists and wanted to know if I'd be okay with it. I was a bit taken aback, and tried explaining that it felt kind of awkward for me, and that it was okay when it was just us, but now with the kids I didn't think it was a good idea. She said I was just been prudish and asked what problem could be, and I again just couldn't think of a really good reason.So I accepted, and next morning as we all had breakfast she annouced to us all that from now on we wouldn't need to wear clothes at home. I didn't show much emotion, but they seemed happy with the idea.Thing is, I still feel hesitant about it, I don't mind having my kids go naked, but I don't feel it's okay for them to see me nude, so I would rarely go completely naked. The few times I did strip bare, I noticed they would stare at me, kind of wanting to say or ask something. But when it's my wife they wouldn't or at least not so noticeably (Maybe cause she was always kind of like this?)Should I just ask her to go back to how things were before? I feel like maybe I'm making an issue of something that's not a big deal, but I don't feel this is normal and I don't want things to get awkward.​​

The body movement has gained quite a bit of momentum over the past few years especially in part because of social media. Being a curvier girl in an industry that requires me to constantly be in front of the camera has had so many low moments I've had to overcome.My body has gone through so much change over the last 10 years of my adult life. I’ve had to learn to love my body when I didn’t have any booty at all ... to loving it when I have a lot of extra 🍑. To me - body positivity means to accept, love, and nurture our bodies throughout all of that change. To embrace the curves - even if there are people that I come across in my life or this industry who carelessly say things like “you can’t wear that because it’s too sexy - too revealing - too unflattering - TOO MUCH” (I used to have an agent that would try to steer me away from posting anything that would show my body too much) Hence why he got booted!I think above all, it’s imperative to understand that your worth and what’s happening with you physically are two entirely separate entities. You are ENOUGH. You are worthwhile regardless of what’s happening on the outside. I think it's important to be kind to yourself and cognizant of your thoughts - but also to realize that there will be occasions where some circumstances make it difficult to take care of yourself the way you would like to, in which case, just do the best you can in those moments and seek out support from those closest to you. The end goal is to create a space where we can all encourage, uplift, and empower one another to be the best versions of ourselves... And to be strong enough to diplomatically counter those who are trying to shame others due to their own internal battles. What are your thoughts??

I was a nude model today! I signed up for the job weeks ago but hadn't received any calls, but this morning I got an email that someone had canceled and they needed me. I was happy to go, and I'm really glad I did it.This was my first experience being nude in front of people outside of the context of something like a locker room. Last summer my group of friends went to some natural hotsprings after a music festival. Beautiful camping spot. Anyway, my buddy's good friend came with his family and they're nudists, mom, dad, and son. Not a big deal, again came from a music festival and have seen my fair share of naked people. My buddy stripped down too. I have always been nude by myself at the house, gf doesn't mind and joins now and then. Seeing him do it got me almost jealous tho.. I finally got to go to prior lake today. Tried to leave as early as possible but only got in ten-fifteen minutes before I had to leave for work. It was a decent and relaxing time their though. As a fat woman, who has been fat my entire life, I of course have that strong urge to lose the weight and become a fitter, healthier, and smaller person. It's something that has always lingered in my mind, even to this day.However with the body positivity movement, encouraging everyone to love themselves as they are, I feel strongly that as a fat woman, I should learn to love and accept my body just as it is. I have definitely learned to love myself in my fat body as I've grown out of some of my insecurities and just by getting older, going to college, and also meeting other people who have similar ideals. Some days, I genuinely love my fat body! And feel a "fuck it if nobody else likes my body! because I like myself and my body today!"But of course, that isn't everyday. Losing the weight and becoming thin is something that I think is going to hang over my head for the rest of my life. My insecurities about my body are probably so deep seated, that in a sense it literally traumatizes me. My desire to be thin is too strong I guess. Basically, I ping-pong from loving myself in my fat body and wanting to be a thin person (probably because I don't actually? love myself in my fat body...idk).​Anyway, I'm mostly wondering if any other fat people out there feel this. That strange paradox of feeling like you want to accept and love yourself as you exist in your fat body, but also having the desire to lose the weight and become thin one day. I tried discussing this with my therapist and she doesn't really understand it--she kind of poses it as making an either/or choice, but I don't really see it as so black and white as that? I don't really understand completely either...I'm trying to contextualize these feelings but I can't, so I would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on this, particularly if you're experiencing the same thing.

Why should I stress myself about changing my body to get skinnier (if it’ll even help my confidence again) if I want to have a child in the near future? I’d just go and gain wait and hate my body again anyway....I feel like I’m at this impasse cause either way I’m gonna be back to hating my body...any words of advise?
